This club is only able to exist because of the people who give up their time to coach, manage, organise and promote us!
If you think you could spare any time at all, please come and talk to us. Whatever you have to offer, and whatever level of commitment you can manage, you’ll be helping us to offer the best rugby experience for our kids!

Coaching
We are always looking for more coaches! The higher the ratio of coaches to players, the better they will develop.
Want to give it a go?
No matter your experience, if you have the right ethos then we will help you become a coach. We will:
- cover the full cost of your UKCC qualification, safeguarding & first aid courses and DBS check
- provide a framework for sessions, and a library of coaching points and tried & tested games
- mentor & support you as you develop
- compensate you for your time & provide free club stash

Other Roles
There are plenty of other ways to volunteer and help our club run smoothly, most of which don’t require a significant time commitment:
If you think you can help with any of these roles, or have something else in mind completely – please get in touch! The more volunteers we have, the better the experience will be for our kids…
Festival Organiser
- Arranging the location, timings and game schedule for home festivals
- Inviting guest clubs, confirming their attendance, keeping in regular contact to avoid last-minute dropouts
- Liaising with organisers of away festivals and sharing details to the club
- Arranging photography & video (of children for whom parents/guardians have given permission) to promote the event
Marketing & Media Manager
- Co-ordinating all club volunteers who may have photos, videos or just information to share on our website, social media & whatsapp groups
- Ensuring a regular flow of updates, identifying other interesting posts to maintain the regularity & variation (rugby highlights, clips, updates from other clubs etc)
- Finding new ways to drive our engagement in the local community – facebook likes, website hits, local media coverage etc etc
Sponsorship Co-ordinator
- Primary contact between the club and our sponsors
- Ensuring we regularly promote our sponsorship agreements and celebrate their investment in our club
- Regularly making contact with existing sponsors to keep the relationship strong, encourage renewals whenever they expire
- Always looking for new ways to attract sponsors – if we don’t ask we won’t get!
